Does I Dozen Pills Help To Avoid Pregnancy?

Question: Hi doctor, me and my girlfriend had sex yesterday I did use condom but have doubt that the condom broke and she is due to start her periods. its been 24 hours she we had sex and she has not started her periods. Since ipill is not available can we take I dozen what is your suggestions?

So this must be the safe period.
I do not think there are chances of pregnancy.

But if you still want be on a safer side, emergency cobtraceptive pills can be taken.

I am not sure about the contents of 'I dozen' pills. Can you please mention the contents of this?

I would like to tell you that sexual intercourse does not delay periods. If her periods are due, she would soon be getting her periods.

i am sorry that was a typo error, idoz 72 is the pill name we thought to take what is your openion on it

Yes, she can take it. Its safe and has no long term side effects.
Its most effective when taken within 12 hours or intercourse.
