Does Hyoscyamine Interact With Amlodipine?
Question: Yes, I have two medications I want to know what they treat. Hyoscyamine Sub 0.125MG & Amlodlpine 5 mg.
I just had kidney stone surgery and was given the Hyoscyamiine to take at home. I have been taking Amlodlpine for sometime. I need to know if I'm suppose to take it at night

Hyocyamine is used to treat conditions like renal colic(abdominal pain due to kidney stones). It is very much effective in your case and that's why the doctor prescribed it.
Amlodipine is an entry level antihypertensive used to treat mild to moderate hypertension. You might have put on this while you were in hospital. If your blood pressure is on higher side, it is better to continue amlodipine. You can take it either at bed time or as morning dose.
Do frequent checking of blood pressure, if your BP falls with in normal range (around 130/90) you can stop the medicine after discussing with your physician. Do not skip medicine with out consent of a doctor.
