Brief Answer:
Yes, this treatment is helpful.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing to us about it.

I can understand your concern.

Your doctor gave you the right treatment and it may help you to conceive fast. There is no need for other medicine unless there is some pathology.

I believe you have already done your investigation like pelvic ultrasound, thyroid profile, complete blood test, hormonal profile and your husband's semen analysis test to rule out other pathology.

If only infection is there, then you are already taking treatment for it.

Your doctor has prescribed you drugs to induce ovulation and supportive treatment to conceive fast.

You should follow these advices which are helpful to you-

- You can use an ovulation predictor kit (which are available in the market) to see when you are ovulating, try sexual intercourse 3 days before and 1 day after ovulation to get better results.
- You should do sexual intercourse very often once your infection gets resolved.
- You should take healthy diet rich in veggies and fruits with low carbohydrate and high protein diet.
- Do not take stress, perform some yoga and meditation
- Do some exercise and work out
- Consume plenty of water
- Maintain proper vaginal hygiene
- Wear loose fit cotton undergarment

Hope it is useful, feel free to ask more.

Good luck for your future
Regards
Dr.Richa
