default
Posted on Fri, 4 Nov 2016
Question: Hi
My question is wrt insects/tapeworms in cabbage and caulioflower and spinach.

I have read a number of articles which say that these vegetables have few tapeworms or insects which dont get killed even by cooking. Is this true? Should we never consume them?

Brief Answer:
good health

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for query.

Tapeworms lie in pork and beef, so whenever a person consumes uncooked pork or beef meat, he can get infected. Tapeworms never infest in vegetables.

In vegetables like cabbage or cauliflower normal garden worms may infest, You can clean them just with salt water which is more than enough.

Get back if any query.
