Brief Answer:
Floaters not responsible

Detailed Answer:
My dear,
Thanks for sending your query to us.

Floaters are seen as small dark objects of irregular shapes floating around with the movement of the eye. They do not cause other symptoms like starburst and rainbow halos that you have mentioned.

Since your eyes have been thoroughly examined and no defects are seen, there appears to be no reason to worry about.

Follow a healthy lifestyle of balanced diet, exercise and rest and if there is any change in symptoms then you have to be re-evaluated.

please do get back to me in case of any further query in this regard.

There are some more details about your eye that we have to know. What is the status of refraction of your eyes ? What is the power you are using and how many lines on the chart you can read ? As in cases on myopia you get floaters and higher the myopia more are the floaters due to vitreous degeneration.
Yes ,excessive strain may increase these floaters, but it is rare that someone as young as you can cot down on strain.we all have to work hard to achieve our goals. That is where the role of yoga, relaxation and healthy lifestyle comes up.
