Brief Answer:
Ban had been revoked

Detailed Answer:
Dear sir/madam

Welcome to healthcare magic

The ban was on the drug pioglitazone. But it was revoked. Low dose of pioglitazone is allowed.
It is not recommended if there are signs of heart failure or risk of fracture
There are newer alternatives available such as gliptins.
