Developed Sudden Redness In Eye. No Irritation Or Pain. What Can This Be?
Question: developed sudden redness in the eye this afternoon which has worsened over the course of the day. absolutely no irritation, pain, watery eye etc. only redness.

Such sudden redness can be passing phenomenon or a begining of some more important.
Therefore to begin with,unless some difficulty arises we would like to use Keterolac eye drops which we have found to be very useful in such cases in our practice.This is marketed as Acular ls or ketoflox eye drops.This is a safe compound and can be used frequently without any difficulty.
In case you start having discharge and irritation in the eye we should start treating you as conjunctivitis .
As of now we will presume this redness to be caused by pollution
