Hello XXXXXXX

Thanks for your query

Presence of continuous cough at night can be due to:
1. Allergic tracheo-bronchitis
2. Viral infection
3. Asthma
4. Post nasal drip
5. Acid reflux
6. Prolonged use of certain medications

Investigation like complete blood count & X XXXXXXX of chest will be helpful in clinching the diagnosis.

Management involves:
1. Treatment of underlying cause
2. Antihistamines to provide symptomatic relief
3. Anti-tussive syrup to control cough

So, it will be better to consult an ENT specialist & get a proper examination done to rule out any cause in the throat.

Appropriate management steps will be taken based on complete history, physical examination & co-relating the findings with investigation reports.

Till then, maintain adequate hydration & take a healthy balanced diet.
Avoid cold food & drinks, smoking and alcohol.

There is no need to worry, you will be fine.

Wishing you a Good Health.

Let me know if I need to clarify further.

Thanks & take care.
