Hi Mr XXXXXXX

Thanks for your query. You are having bleeding from the anal canal and you have to push the contents of the hemorrhoid coming out; inside the anus. Bleeding from anus can happen both in piles and anal fissure but if you have to push the contents coming out then it is not characteristic of fissure. It is characteristic of prolapsed XXXXXXX hemorrhoids grade 3. In grade 3 prolapsed XXXXXXX hemorrhoids, the contents of the hemorrhoid come out when you are passing stools but they do retract or remain inside your anus if you gently push them back upward in to your bottom.

First of all lifestyle measures need to be incorporated. You should increase the fiber in your diet by eating fruits and vegetables. Just make sure to increase your fluid intake when you increase your fiber in the diet. You can also sit in hot sitz bath by sitting in a shallow bucket with hot water three times a day. The heat would help in relieving the discomfort and pain of the hemorrhoids. However for specific treatment, you have to consult a surgeon. Some of the preferred methods are injection sclerotherapy, rubber band ligation and by surgical method like hemorrhoidectomy.

I am not sure if medicines can help you anymore. You have to consider other helpful treatment options. Nowadays laser coagulation and infrared photocoagulation are also used. Considering that it is grade 3 hemorrhoids in your case, hemorrhoidectomy is the preferred treatment option for you.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health.
