Hi XXXXXXX
I notice you are from Delhi where dengue fever is widespread.
Kindly go to the paediatrician and get investigations done-dengue antigen and blood counts.
Fever, rash, pain in the eyes (deep) is symptoms of dengue.
Malaria also should be ruled out.
For fever to come down you can do the following apart from dolo
1- you can give another medicine called ibuprofen syrup. It should be given after food and not on empty stomach.
2 do what is called tepid sponging! Keep a basin with tapwater, soak some small hand towels in water, wring the water, wrap round the child’s both hands, both legs and over forehead. Keep doing this for 20 mins or so till fever comes down to 99 degrees or 37.5 deg c.
3-give more fluids like water, juices.
4;phenzee may make her feel drowsy. Watch out
If the other investigations are normal and fever still continues you may have to test for typhoid for her.
Good luck
