Question: Hi, Its been 25 Days in XXXXXXX XXXXXXX hospital for my nephew, 10Yrs old. The disease name they call it Extreme Barr Virus. They are still not able to say its curable or not. Is it worth trusting this hospital. Please suggest at earliest I can also send the reports for consultation. Regards, XXXXXXX

It belongs to herpes group of virus and belongs to type 4. It causes many type of illnesses.It causes Infectious mononucleosis(glandular fever),lymphoma etc. If possible,please upload the reports and also mention about his problems. Your nephew is in very good hospital.You can trust those people.This is very reputed hospital and has very good team of doctors. If it is infectious mononucleosis then there is no specific treatment for this disease,we can treat only the symptoms.This is the limitation doctors face,where as other diseases due to this virus is curable.
