Thanks for the query about your healthcare and regarding kidney cleansing and management.

1. It will/would be highly desired/appreciated from your side to kindly let me know about your Lipid profile so as to know the status of cholesterol level and the DURATION for which your current medication is prescribed.
2. Because history says "current" medication, was any other medicine prescribed earlier for your ailment.
3. Is/was high cholesterol independent (family history) or due to any associated factors/diseases like stress, sedentary habits, faulty life style, irregular diet, low thyroid function, diabetes??
4. In Ayurveda we consider cholesterol as "AAM" i. e. Undigested and for that "Aampachan" i. e. increasing the digestive fire is necessary.
5.To maintain your cholesterol in normal limits you can follow the following regime:
i. Avoid saturated oil like: coconut, dalda, butter, ghee, cream. Instead take monosaturated oils like:olive oil, sunflower oil, safflower oil.
ii. Avoid deep fried foods, unskimmed milk, meat, fish, prawns.
iii. Increase fibre intake: leafy vegetables, salads, fruits, pulses, take more of soups but without butter.
iv. More of bhajis (chopped vegetables) made with minimum or no oil from vegetables like lady's finger, tomato, brinjal, cauliflower, spinach, radish, pumpkin.
v. Onion, garlic, soyabean, curd of skimmed milk, apple-help to reduce cholesterol.
vi. Brisk walking for 45 minutes every day (5 days a week)
vii. Chitrakadi Vati, Garlic pearls and Tablet Abana are good for controlling Cholesterol.
viii. XXXXXXX Namaskar under the guidance of Yoga specilaist is very good Pranayam for you.
ix. High cholesterol leads to high serum uric acid and high blood sugar level, please check the same.

6. Your main query has many concerns:
¤ are you going for 'kidney cleansing' for health benefit or to prevent some disease problem?
¤ in what form are you going to take it: prepare yourself or procure/buy from market?
¤ make sure any procedure you opt for is backed by scientific study or data?
¤ In Ayurveda Cilantron (Coriander/Dhaniya) is considered tohave following properties:
• quenches thirst (Trishna Nigrahan)
• act as coolant ( XXXXXXX Shamak)
• good appetizer ( Deepan) & Digestive (Pachan) will also take care of excess build up of heat inside the body. (which will ultimately excrete through kidneys).
• Because it is hot (Ushna) in potency (Virya) thus acts as a diuretic (Mutra Virechaniya), so will be very effective in cleansing your kidney of metabolic waste.
• Apart from cilantron juice you should also stick to some basic facts:
. Avoid substance abuse: alcohol intake, tea, coffee
.maintain ideal body weight (brisk walk).
. maintain blood pressure, sugar, and cholesterol within normal limits (check regularly).
. Adequate fluid intake (8-10glasses of water/day).
. Avoid salt XXXXXXX diet i.e. pickles, papad, sauce, cheese, salted butter, salted biscuits, wafers, popcorns, salted peanuts/cashews, salted butter milk, chutney.

Healthy life style with balanced diet low in fats.

Hope I have given adequate response and reasons for the above-mentioned query, please revert for any further concerns.
