Brief Answer:
Tapering form Klonopin does not cause this

Detailed Answer:
hi, thanks for your Query. welcome to HCM.

Tapering from klonopin does not cause cough and throat and nasal secretions. Withdrawal from Klonopin will result in anxiety symptoms, nausea, vomiting, sleep disturbance etc.

Excessive yawning, diarrhea, nasal secretion and watering from the eyes are the symptoms of withdrawal from opioid.

It must be something else that is happening to you. Visit a ENT specialist and undergo evaluation.

You can also check on your own, whether it is related to tapering of klonopin by returning to the same dosage and waiting. If your symptoms improve than it is due to tapering of the klonopin, but I will here suggest you to visit ENT specialist.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have further query feel free to ask. Wishing you good health.
