default
Posted on Mon, 17 Oct 2016
Question: I've been having issues with my stomach for almost three weeks now. It all began after my grandmother passed away. Random pains in the upper and bottom of both sides of my stomach including the center and bloating. It began as a pain on my left side and had traveled all over my stomach. I went to the hospital and they diagnosed me with gastritis. What do I do? How can I cure this?

Brief Answer:
Supportive care

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

i read your question and i understand your concern, Gastritis has many implications. Stress triggers it and your grandmother passing away has likely played a stress role. The treatment you are on is more than enough, continue itf or 4 weeks, modify diet and lifestyle , avoid spices , dairy products, alcohol, beer, soda, beverages, tea, coffee. Prefer fresh fruits and vegetables, eat small frequent meals, use yogurt with peppermint. Drink plenty of fluids and hope for the best.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Hello I've been experiencing pain on both my left and right side of my abdomen top and bottom areas for over four days now. The pain comes and goes every day now. I went to the hospital a few days ago to have my appendix checked xrays indicated its not infected. The pain on my right side migrates from the top to the bottom and it is making me nervous it is sharp it comes and goes. What could this be?

Brief Answer:
Same gastric discomfort.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you getting back to me

This pain in your lower abdomen is associated with your functional bowel discomfort and using above mentioned supportive care and remedies will help with this pain. You may use some antispasmodic like hyoscine for the pain too.

I hope it helps.
