Fever occurs as part of the body's inflammatory response to infection, severe allergies or persistent, trauma (can occur after surgery ), it can even occur in some cancers.
It is the body reacting to the inflammation inside.

Sinusitis is inflammation of the sinuses, usually due to either infection (can be viral or bacterial) or allergies.

Fever can occur since sinusitis is due to infection or severe or persistent (continually exposed to source of allergies) allergies.
In mild allergies, there is usually no fever.
