Can Pemphigoid Be Mistaken For Genital Warts?

Question: can pemhigold be mistaken for gential warts? I have had treatment for gential warts then noticed blisters or lesion on my abdomen. Or would it be best to get a biopsy on the blister to determine if it is?

Pemphigoid is characterized by tense blisters whereas genital warts present with solid lesions. Both have different clinical presentations and so they are rarely mistaken for each other.

In case your blisters are not resolving, it is better to go for biopsy of the blister and get the diagnosis confirmed.

so you are saying they are probably the warts having moved to my stomach? Can they move on their own to other parts of the body?

I am saying both are totally different diseases and there are very rare chances of mistake in the diagnosis of these two.
Warts is a viral infection which definitely has a tendency to spread to other parts of the body.
It can be you had warts and they got treated.
Then after its treatment you have developed Pemphigoid.
Can you upload the photographs of these bumps so that I can have a look at these and can guide you accordingly.
