Brief Answer:
it is possible

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

it is possible. In men, diabetes and other conditions increase the risk for UTI (renal stones, etc). Lower UTI usually present with frequency, urgency, perhaps lower abdominal pain and perhaps a burning sensation when passing urine.
Upper UTI presents with fever and flank pain. Sometimes fever with rigor are the only symptoms.

In both cases a urinalysis would be abnormal.
