Brief Answer:
Linzess can cause dehydration.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

Linzess stimulates bowel movements and softens stools by increasing the secretion of water in the bowels. So Linzess can cause dehydration which can cause high blood pressure. You may have stomach pain, diarrhea and loss of appetite. Also chills are the side effects of Linzess.

Xanax should not cause dehydratation. It can casue chills or difficulty having a bowel movement.

Your blood pressure can be also affected by stress and anxiety.

If you do not feel well after Linzess you should stop taking it and make an appointment with your doctor so that he or she will examine you and change you treatment.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
