Can I Have Mixtard HM Insulin Inspite Of No Availability Of Lantus Insulin?

Question: Hello doctor,
im 24yrs old. Diabetic.i take 40units of lantus and metbay 500mg at bed time. But m running out of insulin now. I have taken 18units of lantus and the tablet. My mother uses mixtard HM. Can i take few units of that insulin now to compensate the dose.
