Brief Answer:
hormonal changes trigger migraine.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

Yes,hormonal changes are one of the triggers of migraine.
The cause seems to be the fluctuations in estrogen level.
So it is very common to experience an episode of migraine right before the periods or during the periods. This is related with the fact that estogen level drops right before the periods and can trigger the migraine.
The same thing happens menopause and perimenopausal period and migraine stends to be more frequent.

I hope this helps.
Let me know if you need further help.

Take care,
