HIV tests are not affected by any other concurrent illnesses including that of Thyroid (high TSH / microsomal antibody) .

Factors affecting HIV tests:

False negative results:
Window period,,unexplained or atypical response,,Atypical host response,,failure to mount an immunologic response, ,Type N' or 'O or HIV 2 , Technical or clinical error

False positive result
Experimental HIV vaccines,influenza vaccination,technical/clinical error

Indeterminate results
Serologic tests in the process of sero-conversion, late HIV infection , cross linking nonspecific antibodies -like that of collagen diseases, lymphomas,liver diseases, injection drug use, multiple sclerosis, or recent immunization , Infection with O' strain or HIV 2 ,Experimental HIV Vaccine recipients, technical /clinical errors

Taking into all above factors , the test protocol have been formulated : One test at base line and another after 3 months of exposure,and once these tests are negative, the person is labeled as 'HIV negative'
If your test after 7 months of exposure is negative, then you are an HIV negative person .They are certainly reliable.

Yes indeed, they take care of all the factors and test antibodies and antigens of all the strains including HIV 2 and other strains before giving the result.

You have done 25 antibody tests and one ECLIA test (which is a 4th generation tests ,testing both antibody and antigens of both HIV 1 & 2) --and all tests came negative -it proves your HIV 'negative' status beyond doubt. So no worries over there, rest assured about it.

Just for your curiosity, I am explaining here about HIV types and strains.
Worldwide, the predominant virus is HIV-1, and generally when people refer to HIV without specifying the type of virus they will be referring to HIV-1.
The relatively uncommon HIV-2 type is concentrated in West XXXXXXX and is rarely found elsewhere.
Strain HIV -1 is divided into 3 strains M (Major) ,O (Outliner ) N (Non M or O) sub types .
Sub-type M is further subdivided into A , B, C,,D , E , F, G ,H , J,& K strains according to different geographical areas, including in XXXXXXX where C is found
O, and N strains are found in West XXXXXXX and also very rare .
