Can Hemorrhoids Cause Constant Increase In PSA Levels?

Posted on Fri, 11 Dec 2015
Question: Hello, iI had prostate surgery 15 months ago, after 4 months my psa was .6. The doctor that was not good and he had me do 35 radiation treatments. 3 months later my psa was 4.1. He wanted me to start hormone treatments and I did not want to do that. 4 months later my psa was 22. One month later it dropped to 21. I had it checked this week and it is 28 but also this week I have hemorroids. Can that cause the rise in psa. I have changed my diet a lot. I eat lots of vegetables. I was so happy when a month ago it went down a point, then 3 weeks later it is back up to 28. So do you think the hemorroids can cause that spike? Thank you very much. XXXXXXX XXXX XXXX
