Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that the essential oils can be absorbed by your skin and then metabolized by your body.

This explains the possible interactions between essential oils and other drugs (like blood pressure drugs) that you may take.

But you should know that different oils have different interactions.

So, according to many studies peppermint and XXXXXXX should be used with caution in patients with high blood pressure, because they can cause changes in blood pressure and also interact with blood pressure medicine.

From the other hand peppermint can cause changes in the gastro-intestinal tract, leading to change in the absorption of many drugs by the stomach or gut.

So, I would recommend use with caution or in small surfaces of your skin these oils in order to avoid possible interactions.

Hope to have been helpful!

Wishing good health,

Dr. Iliri
