Question: Can crying cause this level of inflammation or is it something more serious

I have read your this & previous queries , seen your pictures and understand your concern.

In my opinion , it is less likely because of crying .

Facial swelling or puffiness may be because of
1) allergy - need complete blood picture & absolute eosinophil count.
2) kidney diseases- need kidney function test to rule out
3) thyroid diseases - it is normal in your case .
4) Hormonal imbalance - due to PCOS
5) Steroid drug or excess production - you have high DHEA (Steroid)
6) Sleep disturbance
7) Heart diseases - 2D echo
8) Liver diseases - need liver function test

You need to rule out this causes .
