Brief Answer:
May help..reduce iron rich foods..

Detailed Answer:
Hello Madam

Copper is believed to be involved in the formation of red blood cells..But in the setting of hemochromatosis, taking copper supplement may cause increased iron overload in the blood(hemosiderosis) causing thrombosis, acute liver and kidney failure with imbalanced diet i.e especially iron rich diet.

Furthermore copper alone will not effectively improve your red cell count at this age because of reduced hematopoesis ability.

Other trace elements like zinc, selenium supplements are also helpful..avoid like the way vitamin c rich fruits..

Hope my answer is helpful. If any further queries happy to answer.
