Question: Whether alkacitron can help in controlling high uric acid, as it is a alkaline and can bring down acidity in urine or blood.

Alkacitron contains sodium acid citrate, is an urinary alkalizer basically used in uric acid (Hyperuecimia).For this there are other drugs like allopurinol available.

Febuxostat (febutaz) had been shown to be more effective than allopurinol in lowering serum uric acid concentration. So it is Better to take febutaz 40 as prescribed by your doctor.
