Brief Answer:
this side effect is shared by all antihistamines

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

although rare, hypertension is one of the potential side effects of antihistamines. It may occur with any antihistamine. Note that hypotension is also possible. I can't predict whether another antihistamine will work better for you but it is a fact that hypertension may occur with any of them.
Make sure that the formulation you use does not contain a decongestant too because decongestants cause hypertension more frequently than antihistamines. For example Zyrtec D-12hours contains pseudoephedrine and an antihistamine. Pseudoephedrine may cause palpitations, a fast heart rate, hypertension, etc.

I hope you find my comments helpful!
Kind Regards!
