Question: I had one drink at a convention I am at. I have to get up really early so I took a xanax on hour after the drink. Then after I took the pill, I remember that is is dangerous to combine the two. But with just one drink and .25 of xanex, will I be okay?

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

It is right to say that combination of xanax and alcohol is dangerous as both are CNS depressants but the dose you used is well within same limits and I do not think you are at the risk of any serious side effects due to combining two substances.

I hope this assists you.
If you have more questions I will be glad to assist you further.
