Can Valium Or Gabapentin Cause Weight-gain?

default
Posted on Fri, 13 Oct 2017
Question: Hello,
I'm wondering which is more likely to cause weight gain: 80mg of valium per day or the maximum dosage of gabapentin (4,800mg) per day? I have to be on one or the other for awhile because of a temazepam taper that was done too rapidly and resulted in protracted withdrawal syndrome. I realize it will take longer to get off the valium, but I'm not concerned about that.
