Can Trenaxa MF Stop Menstrual Bleeding?

Question: My wife has irregular periods and had her last period on 14 Nov. She has again spotted period today. She doesn't want to have her periods now since we are going on a piligrim tour. She has been prescribed for Trenaxa MF earlier by her doctor. Can she have the medicine now.She's 44 yrs and using 40 mg pill for BP. She's carrying Trenax MF with her now. Can she start the medicine now or suggest an alternative.

She should take tab norethisterone 5 mg twice a day till she wants to avoid periods. when your pilgrimage is over then leave the tablet and periods should come within 5-7days. I have bought PRIMOLUT-N which has Norethisterone IP 5 mg. I want to know if the medicine is same that has been prescribed. Can this be taken twice daily?
