Can Mintop And Finax Tablets Be Taken Along With Prodep?

Question: Hi Dr,

I am taking Mintop 5% and finax Tab 1 mg for hairfall treatment from 3 days. yesterday psychiatrist prescribed me prodep Capsules....Can i take these 2 medicines at a time....?

as in mintop description mentioned that should not use if using medicines related to anxiety or depression...

what is the use of Prodep..?

Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

Although all three medications can be taken with each other I have small concern related to side effects of Finax and Prodep.

Both of these medications cause erectile dysfunctions as a side effects and it is possible that you will develop this side effect in near future.

In my patients who take Finax I prefer Bupron as antidepressant as it has limited side effects in compare to prodep.

I request you to discuss the issue of erectile dysfunction with your psychiatrist and request him some other medication like Bupron for treatment of depression.

This side effects will be for long time or just for the period I use this medicines..?

Dr this is the first time i visited psychiatrist n am really concerned about my future....I get angry(sad) for small things and suddenly i cool down(Happy), mood swings in short time(10 to 15 mints )... I always judge myself whether I am getting angry unnecessarily but I feel am correct at my side...I cannot control my anger, I May do anything at that time, (recent with angry i tried to lift 70 kgs bag n got hurt)...
