Can Lobate-GM Be Used For Itchy Red Rash Around Pimple On Cheek?
Question: Hello, I had a pimple on my cheek a few days ago which is almost dried out now. But, around it there is a red rash which is a little itchy. I tried natural remedies such as applying tea tree oil and turmeric. It helped with the pimple but not with the rash. The rash feels dry but at the same time itchy. Can I apply lobate-gm on it?

Most probable cause for red rash around pimple in your case is allergic dermatitis.
Many times pus draining from pimple/boil irritates surrounding skin and lead to itching and redness.Application of tea tree oil and turmeric probably also responsible for irritation.
For rash to subside you can use a mild steroid cream like hydrocortisone for 4 to 5 days.Do not apply harsh soap and any other creams over it.
I will advise you not to apply lobate gm as it contains potent steroid which can be harmful to your face.

Hello doctor, thank you so much for the answer. I have a hydrocortisone cream by the brand 'Life Brand'. I will use that for a few days and see if it goes subsides. Just wanted to be sure is it is not a fungal or viral infection. Thank you once again.
