Brief Answer:
Yes you can give him lanzol. No need to wake him up though

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for your query.
I'm Dr. Shuba Hariprasad and will be answering your query today.

I've gone through your query and understand your concerns.

I'm sorry that your little one is going through this.
Lanzol helps with the stomach pain and ondestum helps with the vomiting

Yes, please go ahead and give him junior lanzol 30.
You don't have to wake him up. Just give to him as as soon as he wakes up and wait for about a half hour before giving him anything to eat.

After he wakes, give him some water, if he is able to keep it down, give him the junior lanzol 30 and then something to eat/drink as mentioned above.

If he throws up, and it has been more than 8 hrs since his previous ondestum dose, give him one more dose of 5ml and wait for an hour before giving anything orally.

Small sips are better tolerated than large mouthfuls. Have him sniff on a lemon or his favorir ice cream to quell the vomiting sensation.
Also stick to bland foods. Avoid sugar, carbonated drinks and fatty, oily foods

Hope I've answered your query.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

I wish him well.
Regards,
Dr. Shuba Hariprasad

He is ok now with normal activities.
Today morning he was given Junior Lanzol 30 . No vomiting, no stool no stomach pain.
How long should I continue Junior Lanzol to him or should I give as SoS.
Previously His child specialist Doctor prescribed Gutclear for 3 months at bedtime after that reduce by 5ml weekly. He was also given 'No Worms' liquid medicine on 1st of May.

Brief Answer:
Give him Lanzol for 3 more days and then stop. No need any other medication

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for the follow up.

Am glad that he feels better.
Please continue junior lanzol 30 for 3 more days (once a day, half hour before a meal). You may then stop it.

He doesn't need any other medications. He doesn't need to reduce this gradually either.

Continue to give light bland food for a week and gradually normalize one meal at a time. Avoid milk for a 3 more days and restart with small quantities. If no problem, he can go back to his normal consumption.

Yogurt, on the other hand, is fine to consume even now.

Hope this helps.
Am glad your little once is fine.
Please let me know if you have further queries.

Wish you both good health.
Regards,
Dr. Shuba Hariprasad
