For How long should this IPCD be used?
Brief Answer:
6-12 months.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
You need to use IPCD until the lymphedema subsides on daily basis,usually it takes 6-12 months for greater than 70% reduction.
There after you can use on alternate day basis.
Once the residual lymphedema comes down to less than 10%,use compression garments daily with weekly IPCD.
