Answered by Dr. Bharatesh Devendra Basti (26 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
HIV no risk.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for query. I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query.
Welcome to health care magic.

The chances of transmission of HIV by unprotected oral sex or blow job is nil unless there are open bleeding wounds in both the partners.
Here it is protected so the chances are nil.Transmission is unlikely even if slight tear in condom. You can allay fears of HIV.

Other STDs like herpes can be transmitted by skin to skin contact or kiss or as STDs.The chances are higher if there are active lesions at the time of contact.

You can get back for any clarification.

doctor
Answered by Dr. Bharatesh Devendra Basti (3 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Chances of HIV transmission is nil.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for follow up query.

Gastrointestinal tract is resistant to HIV.It cannot survive. If any bleeding wounds are present in oral cavity ,then there are possiblities of it to act as portal of entry into body. So it is unlikely as you did not have any oral bleeding wounds.

You can get back for any clarification.

Answered by Dr. Bharatesh Devendra Basti (1 hour later)
Brief Answer:
You can get tested as a baseline.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for follow up query.

The transmission of HIV by oral sex is possible if there are bleeding wounds in the throat area ,and if HIV Infected Precum or semen is introduced. It is unlikely. So the possibility is nil.
He may be negative too.You can get his reports or get him tested.
I do not see the need for PEP.
If you still feel there is possibility of transmission, you can consult your doctor. Discuss with him about the PEP.
You can get tested for HIV and STDs as a baseline and after 3 months .

You can get back for any clarification.

I do not see the need for PEP. But you can get him tested or know about his HIV status to be relieved of your anxiety.
You can get tested for STDs and HIV as a baseline now and after 3 months to be relieved of your anxiety.
You will always be worried about HIV status if you do not go for HIV tests.
You are likely to relate all /any symptoms to HIV.
