Can HIV Be Contracted Through Non Penetrative Intercourse?

Question: Hi sir
1 month ago I got a soapy massage done in Thailand which is very common there. During the massage first me the lady bathed nude together in a bathtub and then she slid her naked body over mine on a bed of foam and water. There was direct contact with her genitals during this although her vagina might have touched my body at some point of time. I did not have any cuts or bruises on my body neither had she. After this we dried up and she made me wear a condom on my semi erect penis and gave me a blow job. Once erect she climbed on me and we had vaginal intercource for about 30 secs until I came. Then she used a tissue to remove the condom and washed my penis with soap.
Sir now I am very much worried if I have caught hiv more so because for the past 5-6 days I m having low grade fever of 99° during the daytime and evening although I do not have any other significant symptoms. Please advise. I am very worried. Is transmission of hiv possible in this case?
Correction. ...there was NO direct contact with her genitals during the bath in the tub and the foam massage...only contact with the genitals was with me wearing a latex condom and no oil lubricant used...the condom was intact...is the transmission of hiv possible through condom

Brief Answer:
No risk of HIV

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for your query at HCM.
I understand your concern and situation.

In your case you have actually no risk of HIV as even in heterosexual intercourse without condom causes HIV in only 1%. In your case the intercourse was protected and carries no risk of HIV. I would suggest no test. But to allay your apprehension you can take a test 4 th generation ELISA test after12 weeks. Now coming to your problem of low grade fever it could be due to mild viral fever which requires no treatment except acetaminophen when fever and rest. If fever persists beyond a week with symptoms like cough and chest pain then you have to take tests to rule out tuberculosis by chest XRay and sputum examination. Eat protein rich healthy and balanced diet and drink plenty of water.

Take care
