Sulfasalazine cream with lignocane gel recommended for burns

Detailed Answer:
Hello

My name is Dr Muhammad Ali Rauf & i will look into your problem.

I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way. for superficial burns as in your case, i would suggest you to get sulfasalazine & lignocae gel. mix both in equal proportion on hand in small quantity and rub over the burnt area. It contains local anesthetic effect as well which reduces the pain. following general care will help in speed recovery:

- Don't tough face with dirty hands
- Avoid using towel or drying material after washing face. Let it air dry.
- Apply ointment thrice a day.
- Avoid dust

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!

Can you advise if using Fucidin antibiotic cream was a bad idea? I applied it once to the burn area. Will this cause any damage/harm, or should I not worry about it? I thought it would help in preventing infection but now I am not so sure. Can you ese my mind about having used Fucidin once?
