Can Fluconazole Pills Be Purchased Over The Counter?

Question: I was told that fluconazole pills could be bought otc. Is that true? And if so where? And is there something special I have to do like when you buy Sudafed? If you can't buy fluconazole otc, what antifungal ORAL medicine would you recommend that you can get otc? I am already using antifungal powder and ointment/cream. Rather not go into exactly what though.

Brief answer....FLUCANAZOLE is easily available as OTC product.

FLUCANAZOLE 150 mg is used as weekly dose and easily available as OTC product.
It can be purchased by the name of DIFLUCAN.
Other OTC antifungal easily available is LAMISIL.
As far as SUDAFED is concerned,it is available as both OTC as well as on prescription.
Points to remember while buying SUDAFED ( OTC ) are....
It is available from behind the counters locked cabinets in the pharmacy
You can purchase only limited amount in a month.
Present a photo identity of yours
Stores are required to keep a personal information about purchaser for at least 2 years.
