Can Aspirin And Advil Be Taken Together?

Question: I take a whole aspirin every day to help thin my blood.I also have been taking advil usually o0nce a day.I read some years ago that this is alright so long as you give enough time about two hours after the aspirin you can take the advil. Is this correct?
