Brief Answer:
further necessary action

Detailed Answer:
Dear
Thanks for contacting Ayurveda with your health concern and you can use the drug in combination safely instead of taking them in individual form:

1. While Ashwgandha is effective/suitable for insomnia but it does not act as a good sedative,on the other hand Tagar is a safe sedative / hypnotic choice for patients with mild to moderate insomnia, so instead of going for individual preparation one should use compound form of the drug with major ingredients as nervine tonic: e.g. STRESSAN Tablet or Stresscom Capsule (which along with these two contains Jatamansi, Ajwain, Dhatura).

PS. best is to get capsule Phystress which is a result oriented medicine for the same [if interested I can courier you the medicine]

2. DIETARY REGIME AND LIFESTYLE CHANGES:

. avoid caffeine found in coffee, tea, chocolate, cola, and some pain relievers
PS. [four to six hours before bedtime.]
. quiet, dark, and cool environment can help promote sound sleep.
PS. [Use heavy curtains, or an eye mask to block light, and also keeping computers, TVs, and other work materials out of the room will help promote mental bonding between your bedroom and sleep]
. Avoid stressful, stimulating activities like doing work, discussing emotional issues.
PS. Physically and psychologically stressful activities can cause the body to secrete the stress hormone cortisol, which is associated with increasing alertness.
. take dinner 2-3 hours before bedtime and avoid foods that cause indigestion. [spicy-heavy- junk food]
. avoid afternoon napping to prevent late night awakening [ between 2-3 pm is ideal, but that too sitting on a chair while head resting on table]
. looking at clock in your bedroom, [when you are trying to fall asleep] can actually increase stress, making it harder to fall asleep. Turn your clock’s face away from you.
. Principle is to have well balanced diet with more of proteins and more Calories with exercise, take more of cereals, legumes, daal egg,and eat fresh fruits regularly with sweet pulp like (banana, XXXXXXX chickoos, grapes)
. take banana, black grapes, orange, spinach, ginger, tomatoes, curd, take diet rich in vitamin C (Citrus fruits) and vitamin E (sunflower seeds, almonds, apricots, peanuts) which are rich in anti oxidants
. Lemon juice mixed with sugar in a glass of water helps release stress removing hormones from the body and bring mind at peace/rest.
. Mix 4-5 dates in half glass of water and drink 2 times daily for a month.
. eat 2 spoon coriander seeds with 2 spoons of sugar candy
. rub castor oil on palms and feet
. drink a juice of coriander leaves, water and sugar.
. before retiring to bed wash your mouth, head, back of neck, both ears and legs with cold water
. make a paste of 'bhang' with cow/goat milk and massage on feet.
. take a glass of XXXXXXX milk at bed time [best sleep inducer].

Dear
Thanks for reverting back

1. Tagar can be safely used by a diabetic patient since no reported/documented side effects or adverse reaction has been seen in clinical trials done in diabetic patients, only concern is:

. take the medicine in recommended dosage [after meals]
. and overdose may produce undesirable side effects [do not take any other sedative / hypnotic drug/herb simultaneously]

Dear
Thanks for reverting back and before suggesting the diagnosis and line of management, do let me know about the following questionnaire:

1. Is her Menstrual history normal? [Gynecological opinion regarding DUB or menorrhagia/metrorrhagia]?
2. Any history of taking painkillers?
3. Is she been seen by a Hematologist [to exclude HHT: hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia] and also for vWD [von Willebrand Factor] deficiency?
4. Recent FDA report suggested that people [esp. female [82.53%] who take thyroxine medicine and have high blood pressure have associated nasal bleeding problem so consult an Endocrinologist
5. Do clarify above points so that necessary management can be initiated.

Dear
Thanks for reverting back

1. As all her gynecological/hematological examination are normal [as told by you], thus check with Vitamin C and Vitamin K levels and since she was checked by an ENT doctor thus hopefully he must have excluded conditions like [sinusitis/rhinitis, tumors in the nasal area] as the cause of epistaxis

2. I usually manage my patient(s) on the line of “urdhwaga raktapitta” and is a pitta + rakta vikar i.e. when aggravated pitta mixes with rakta Dhatu [blood tissue]

3. I usually recommend them:
- Tab styplon [Himalaya]
- Vasavaleha [virgo]
- Amla juice [ patanjali]
- Usher assav [Sandu]
- Wel heart capsule and Phystress capsules [prepared by us and giving evidence based results in such conditions], we will courier you along with dietary recommendation, home remedies, and lifestyle changes
