There are no known interactions between amoxicillin and prednisone. They can safely be used together.

Sore throat can be due to post nasal drip trauma, viral or bacterial infections

Most infections are viral but some can be due to bacteria

Amoxicilin is commonly used for bacterial infections but prednisone is not usually required for the majority but can be used if necessary
