Can Adderall Be Taken While Treating Pneumonia?

Question: Is there any reason someone with pneumonia who is hospitalized should be taking adderall that was prescribed for ADHD or add.

I do not think you need to continue Adderall when you are in hospital and taking medication for pneumonia. First of all, the adderall helps you in concentrating and doing your works which is not often required when already hospitalized.

Secondly, there may be interaction between the medications used for pneumonia.

The withdrawal symptoms are the possibility but the chances are very low provided you have used therapeutic dose range and never beyond the prescription range.
