Brief Answer:
Hi,

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for using Healthcaremagic for your query.

Regarding weight loss, it is a tricky problem and there is no single universal solution. Somethings work well for one person and some for others. This is further complicated by medical issues like PCOS or Hypothyroidism especially in females.

Yes ideally exercise and diet modifications are helpful there are various reasons for not being able to pursue a routine though it would help the most in other aspects of health not only weight management.

Putting it broadly, weight loss procedures are Bariatric procedures like gastric bypass. Liposuction is more an inch loss procedure though u do loose weight and you look a lot better. Typically bariatric is advised for patients with metabolic diseases like diabetes or BMI of more than 35. Liposuction is for BMI between 25-28 ideally
28-35 is the grey zone area and we are doing more and more large volume lipousctions in this zone.

What would be best option for you has to be decided after examining you and having a proper consult with your doctor.

All the drugs you mentioned in your query are all centrally acting drugs which modify brain metabolism acting on the appetite and satiety centres to suppress hunger and the need to eat (cravings). But as with all drugs they have limitations and have to be combined with diet and exercise to get the best results and they can't be taken indefinitely.

Hence as i mentioned all of the above options mentioned have their pro's and con's but what would be the best solution fory ou has to be worked out after your examination and looking at what the situation is and what the goals are for weight loss.'

I would suggest that you please meet with your GP and sit down and formulate a plan and maybe see a local plastic surgeon who can guide you through this process.

Wishing you all the best in your journey of weight management.
