Are There Any Drug Interactions Between Methylone And Prozac?
Question: Hi, im concerned about the residual effects of a drug i took last night and its possible interaction with the 80mg of prozac i take
A little more detail - I took around 600mg of methylone at around 11pm last night. I am also on 80mg prozac, 100mg lamictal and 300mg wellbutrin. I know it was stupid, and I don't need a lecture. Immediately I was very uncoordinated, sweating profusely, confused, had problems with my short term memory. I was initially concerned that it was serotonin syndrome but the symptoms have subsided somewhat since then but I'm still feeling very anxiety, sweaty, dizzy on standing, somewhat confused and uncoordinated. I do not feel like I will sleep tonight, and I didn't sleep last night. Should I be concerned that the symptoms are continuing for this long?

As such no specif human studies suggesting half life of methylone. Few reports in human and animal studies suggest half life of methylone ranges from 24 to 60 hours. Methylone 600 mg will take 48-96 hours to clear completely from the body.
Prozac and wellbutrin may increase the level or effect of methylone by affecting hepatic enzyme CYP2D6 metabolism. There is no specific evidence of interaction but possibility is there as interaction of prozac and wellbutrin with methamphatamine are established.
Considering above aspects you need to wait for 2-4 days for complete improvement after intake.
For a while you should stop prozac and wellbutrin until you improve completely and can take klonopin maximum up to 2 mg for sleep at night and 0.25 mg in day time for maximum two times to relieve anxiety problems.

Thanks for getting back to me. This makes me feel better, but I assume you can't actually prescribe klonopin or any other meds to me? My psychiatrist is hard to get in touch with on short notice.

One other last resort is take lots of water/fruit juices to clear drug from your body faster as it is excreted in urine after metabolism and take rest at home until you become stable completely.
