Brief Answer:
psychotherapy and family counselling will help

Detailed Answer:
Hi ,

Thanks for information.

You are stressed with matrimonial aspect as well as career success. Career issue is likely due to matrimonial problem. Your family background, attitude of family members and bad incidences in family have created psychological problems in you.
Your history suggests that psychotherapy and if needed family counselling can help you a lot.It will help to make decisive about career and matrimonial.
If until recent time you were able to work, your depression is not likely severe. Chances are there you are over stressed and may not have diagnosis of depression.
If by chance depression is there it can be treated. Specific treatment of depression includes both medicines and psychotherapy.

In medicines SSRI group of drugs(fluoxetine, paroxetine, sertraline, escitalopram) are main stay of the treatment. Benzodiazepines group of drugs(clonazeapm, lorazepam or etizolam) are used initially for short duration for fast symptomatic relief.
Other medicines like desvenlafaxine, mirtazapine, bupropion can be used depending on indication.

Other approach is psychotherapy. In that psychodynamic psychotherapy , short term supportive psychotherapy and cognitive behavior therapy(CBT) are used.
From available history I think you need psychotherapy at least. Drugs are needed or not that can be confirmed after detail evaluation only.

I request you to consult psychiatrist personally soon. Earlier the treatment better the results.

Feel free to discuss further.
