Hello;

Thanks for your query.

Fruits are good for health so everybody can have it including diabetic person.

Some fruits do contain more sugar than others, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't eat them if you have diabetes. It is the total amount of carbohydrates taken that affects blood sugar levels irrespective of whether it comes from starch (like rice), fruit or sugar.

So a diabetic person can have small serving of fruit like half banana, a slice of watermelon, papaya, half cup cubed pineapple, half small sized XXXXXXX etc.

Hope that answers your concern. In case of any queries you can write back and I shall help you.

Hello;

Thanks for writing back.

There is some amount of sugar in all fruit and there is no fruit that is without sugar (only the amount of sugar differs).

Some of the fruits that contain comparatively less sugar are:-
Apple; apricot; cherry; olive; lime; avocados; mulberry; peach; cranberry; plum; strawberry; orange; watermelon and so on.

Carbohydrate is an essential component in diet and gives energy so instead of simple easily digestible sugar a person should take complex carbohydrates.

Hope this answer is helpful. Please accept this answer and close the discussion in case you have no further queries.

Wishing you good health.

Regards
