Question: Hello doctor i want to know can a female whose age is 30 have ocd and anxiety can chances to get schziophernia

OCD and anxiety are common disorders which can present in isolation or part of other disorders like schizophrenia. For instance a person with schizophrenia have multiple times of risk of developing anxiety and OCD than the general population.

Many patients with schizophrenia initially present with anxiety symptoms and later on develop full blown schizophrenia.

In does not mean than ocd or anxiety converted to schizophrenia but actually it took time to demonstrate complete pathology or complete picture.

The average age of onset is generally different for various types of schizophrenia but generally in late third decade.

In other words around 30 is common age of onset for most common type of schizophrenia known as paranoid schizophrenia.
