Are HIV Tests Done 3 Months Post Exposure Conclusive?
I had exposure with CSW in sept16. After 3months i got red rashes,cronic fatigue,appitite loss,foggy mind symptoms.
I got test for HIV RAPID test,CBC, hep B,C,syphillis, urine culture and urine routine,VDRL tests. All were non reactive.I got tested 3 times HIV rapid test, 2times 3rd gen hiv antibody lab test and one cmeia p24 combo antibody test(at 8month) with in 3to9 months of exposure.
in my first CBC report my TLC were 13700(high) with high level of neutrophils and low level of lymphocytests.
And after that i was given antibotics but i have done 3 course of antibiotics prescribed by different doctors but still in my current report situation is same.
Kindly find attached my reports for your perusal.
What my be the reason for it.
I am having full body ace, foggy mind, fatigue, pain in eye balls, feeling feverish(in thormometer temp is always appx.96f) even though taking all the prescribed medicines.
Can still there be the boubt of hiv infection ??
Which test should i go for??

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.
Your repeated HIV tests 3 months after the exposure (all are highly reliable) clearly ruled out the possibility of HIV disease beyond any doubt. You are absolutely free from HIV and Hepatitis B and C.
Your symptoms are not at all related to HIV/STD.
Leukocytosis and Increase in Polymorhs (neutrophil) clearly indicates some infection. It will become normal after sometime even without any treatment.
Fatigue, loss of appetite might be due to anxiety or phobia. Feeling of feverishness with temperature remains normal once again confirms that all symptoms are due to anxiety.
Not to worry about HIV/STD. No more test for HIV is necessary for you. Consult another physician and a psychiatrist and get well soon.

I get red point like 2to3 blotches on my hand and some time small rash on my face also, which usually disappear with in 2 to 3 days and after few days new one comes up.
Can these test be false negative or can there be some reliability doubt on lab test accuracy.
Have you got attachements of my reports which i sent to review.
Is my p24 combo report c9nclusive because they have not mentioned p24 index value in the report.
Kindly support.

You are free from HIV infection. No further test is necessary

Hi,
Welcome back.
I saw all your reports. False negative test is rare possibility. As you had multiple negative results after the window period, especially along with the non-reactive 4th generation HIV combo test, your results are 100%conclusive and reliable. Nothing to worry. Your symptoms are not related to HIV.

Can shoulder pain and body ace may also be the symptoms related with anxiety.

Hi,
Welcome back.
You are absolutely free from HIV infection as per your reports. If your wife strictly have only monogamous relationship only with you, there is no reason for her to get infected with HIV/STD. Fever ('Flu' like symptoms) is quite common
for anybody at any point of time as we come across so many pollution everywhere. So nothing to worry. You can sex with your wife without any hesitation.

What should i do to find what is wrong physically if not hiv??
Regards,
People manifest differently in case anxiety syndrome.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
Anxiety or hysterical conditions can definitely be manifested with muscle pain or shortness of breath and many more manifestations.
CBC abnormality is a co-incidence due to some other minor subclinical conditions. Red blotches could be a misinterpretation also. Consult a experienced good physician. Get examined and investigated and get well soon.
