Are Fat Burners Safe To Take When Diagnosed With Hypothyroidism?

default
Posted on Thu, 23 Jun 2016
Question: Hi, I was placed on Synthroid because it was determined I had Hashimoto Antibodies. I take 25mg 5 days a week. I was told by my doctor my Thyroid is still functioning. I am preparing for a body building competition and I'm losing weight but no body fat so I started on a fat burner known as GW-3,L. Is it a bad idea?

Brief Answer:
Dont use fat burner

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Irrespective of health or any illness in body, i do not recommend any fat burner of any kind. These do more harm than good and are cheap publicity stunts. Best fat burner is exercise, jogging, diet lifestyle caloric restrictions . You are on synthroid, that look like fat may be mere puffiness common in hypothyroidism people for which you have been given thyroid supplements. I would suggest negate the idea of using this fat burner and focus on natural exercise and diet lifestyle adjustments to achieve the goal.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
