8 week pregnant. Heartbeat not seen. Is this normal? When does a fetus develop a heart beat?

At 6+2week pregnancy is it a problem not getting baby's heartbeat or its common and how many days i will get to know the heartbeat of a healthy baby?

Thanks for writing in.
At 6 weeks baby’s heart sound started.
But if the size of baby is small then it can not heard or seen on ultra sound.
Or if there is wrong calculation of pregnancy days or ovulation took place late this problem can occur.
In this situation your sonologist will go for ultra sound after a week or two.
He will advice blood Hcg level as well.
